Tailgate party for OU vs. Texas

The past weekend was a wonderful time.  My scrapbook club allowed me to change our scrapbook night from Friday to a Saturday morning so I could attend the Bethany High School football game.  I was able to watch my son coach and to spend time with our daughter-in-law and two grandchildren.   Since this was the OU-Texas weekend I decided to have a tailgate party with my scrapbook club.

 

 

The table was set up with fresh fruit and dip, as well, as OU plates and napkins. 

 

 

    Each person received their own bottle of water

     and pennant! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Each trash bowl was decorated with magnets for Oklahoma Sooners. 

 

 

 

I so enjoyed spending time with my scrapbook club, getting to eat, and watching OU football.  Stay tuned.  There might be another tailgate party.  You will definitely want to attend!

The next scrapbook class will be SATURDAY, November 12th!  I accidentally said November 11th, so please correct this on your calendar.  I apologize for this mistake but thanks to all that let me  know I had made a mistake.  I love you guys!!! Will post more later!!

Well, as you can see, I am starting to blog again. I am so slow at learning how to do all this fancy stuff so please be patient with me.

COMING EVENTS

** October 22, 2011 a Christmas Card class on Saturday, from 9-noon. It will be held at my church, Covenant Life Assembly. It is located next to the Moore Public Library! At this Christmas Card class you will leave with 9 completed Christmas cards and envelopes, all ready to mail to your friends, for only $20.00. You will have fun, laugh, make new friends, and get a chance to release some of the stress you may have acquired during the week. Please RSVP by October 15th, if you want to attend this class.


**November 5, 2011 an Advent Calendar Class on Saturday, from 9-1 PM. It will be held at my church, Covenant Life Assembly. It is located next to the Moore Publid Library. The cost of this class will be $20.00. You will need to provide the frame for this project. Please contact me regarding the information about the frame. Please RSVP by October 28, 2011, if you want to attend this class.


**November 11, 2011 a scrapbook class on Saturday, from 9-noon. It will be held at my church, Covenant Life Assembly. It is located next to the Moore Public Library. At this class you will complete (6) 12x12 scrapbook pages for $30.00, if you are not a club member. If you want to become a Scrapbook Club Member please let me know and we will start again in January. As a member you will receive benefits and the cost of the class is cheaper! Please RSVP by October 30th, if you want to attend.

**December 3, 2011 a card buffet class on Saturday, from 9-2 PM. At this class, you can make as many cards as you wish, for as long as the supplies last, for $1.00 per card! There will be no envelopes at this class. In order to keep the cost to $1.00 per card, I will provide glue sticks. If you wish to use another type of adhesive please feel free to bring it for your own personal use. If you have any questions, please let me know.

WORKSHOPS

The new 2011-2012 Idea Book and Catalog is fantastic! If you have not received one yet, please let me know. SU! changed the hostess plan and I think it is so awesome! Let's plan a "girls night out"! Book your party, provide some snacks, and allow me to show your friends how easy stamping really is. Your friends will leave with 2 projects, like a card and a small 3-D item, or 2 cards if you prefer. Just for allowing us to come to your house and have fun, you can earn hostess freebies when your workshop orders total $150.00 or more! There is still time to book your party so we can make Halloween, Thanksgiving, and/or Christmas projects! Call today!

This card is so simple to make and it would brighten anyone's day.  If your friend likes the orange slices candies then I think you could attach this card to a package of those sweet treats and have a fantastic "thinking of you" gift.  Come to the  CARD BUFFET on Saturday, March 27th, from 9-2 and you can make this card for your friends.  This is a come and go event so you can stay as long as you want or you can come and stay a few minutes and then go on your merry little way.  All cards that you make that day will be $1.00 each.  Come to Covenant Life Assembly; 207 S.
